Church Street Square - A Birmingham Gem!

Church Street Square opened in 2012 in the Colmore BID between Edmund St and Cornwall St.


Church Street Square was a creation of a high quality public realm and square in the heart of the Colmore Business District. It was opened in 2012 on Church Street between Edmund Street and Cornwall Street.

It was a project between Birmingham City Council and the Colmore BID. Work on installing it began during 2011 and it was completed and opened in 2012.

 

Every year Floral Trail sculptures are placed here by Cofton Nursery.

The Big Hoot had an owl sculpture here in the summer of 2015.

Every Christmas during November and December, the Colmore BID sets up a Christmas tree in the square for all to enjoy.
